Fall has arrived – An evening walk in Red Head

Monday night I had some time to myself as Ken took Odin off to swimming class so I decided to get some exercise and enjoy a beautiful night with a walk. I grabbed my camera and walked down to my favourite cliff space and hayfield. If you are interested in purchasing print of any of these images please use the contact form located here: Contact Me

Same Hayfield from a different vantage point. This field is beautiful in every season.

Some pinecones I found growing along the way.

I believe this weed field flower is called golden rod but I'm not sure. One way or the other I found it pretty.

Again I am not quite sure what kind of hedge flower this is but it was quite high, very sweet smelling and was keeping the bees quite busy.

Crab Apples

Lastly as I was almost home I found some crab apples growing by the road. This brought me back to my youth as we used to climb the tree in my Nanny’s yard and eat them until we got a tummy ache. These I left alone.
