Celebrating Prom at the Fair
What’s not to love about a fair. A fair is not only for the thrill seeking ride junkies but also a feast for the senses; the sounds, the colours and the cotton candy. Every year a small community fair comes to town in late June to celebrate the begining of summer. This year it happened to arrive in the middle of our High School Prom week. There are about 8 or 9 high schools in our area that all celebrate prom in the same week. This got my creative juices flowing. I wanted to do photos at the fair of one of the high school graduates in her prom gown. What could be better than a princess on a carousel? I posted up a call on my Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/AliciaRPhotography) to see if anyone was willing to do their prom pictures at the fair. Nicole and her date Cody volunteered. Nicole is one of the many NWH modeling girls who are graduating from high school this year and will be moving away for university in the fall. I may not have many more opportunities to shoot with Nicole so I was thrilled for the chance to capture her in all her prom finery. The prom was actually on Thursday night but we took the photos on Wednesday to allow for time and ideal lighting. Here are a few of the photos from our shoot.
Congratulations Nicole and I wish you the very best was you go off to University.
